If all else fails, try getting some off the neighbors truck. Let them deal with the broken or 'missing' parts!!!

Rocko,
Here is a part number for you to try, 294-28X that's the Spicer part number for the U-bolt strap that takes the nut on the other end and fits the 1310 series U-joint. Hope this helps and if you can't find them I know exactly where to get them here in S.A. just let me know.

Here's the Napa # I have for a D44 - NUJ33010.

Pugs thats the same number everyone has been screaming to buy for the 14 bolt 1350. So does this joint fit up front on the 1310 or on the 14's 1350 or does it somehow magically fit both?

What is and what should never be....

That was what I was wondering. How can a 10B strap work on 14B? The u-joints are totaly different sizes, that is unless the yokes have been replaced sometime.

See Ya,
Keith

I just used the one's off my 10 bolt I took out of my truck..
It's the only strap that the bolt hole's lined up on the rear yoke..
It's only temporary til I find the correct straps..
Don't want to risk breaking anything using the incorrect part.
Thanks everyone..
Most of the part store's around here are all idiot's anyway.. Eventually I'll land the right strap's.. and front u-joint bolt's.. lol

I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. www.rocko.rockcrawler.com

Thought I posted this earlier..............my parts guy at the dealership told me the straps are all the SAME for 10, 12, and 14 bolts. My 12 bolts straps fit perfectly for my conversion, which used the #348 Napa u-joint...........1310 size driveshaft.

I bet you could pull them off of a truck at a J-yard for next to nothing. Just a thought.

See Ya,
Keith

P.S. Most of the part store's around here are all idiot's too.

I bought Napa U-joint #447 but the strap's don't line up with my Yoke.. the hole's on the strap are too far apart..
Thanks again everyone.

Ah, that's right, you have a later model truck with the 1350 sized yoke.

Yep, sounds like a junkyard run is in order................wait for the lightning to stop first!

I got that number (NUJ33010) for the front U-bolts on a 79 K20 - and NUJ33110 for the rear straps on an 86 K30. I got the U-bolt number off of Napa's website, and the strap number off a box in my collction of junk.
