Torque Tubes:
Basically you have your driveshaft connected from the axle to the transfercase. But you don't have a u-joint at the axle end, it's just a spline engagement. The only u-joint being at the t-case. Then, you have a tube that goes over the entire driveshaft that is bolted rigidly to the axle. Then it has a ball/socket style setup at the t-case end and bolts to the t-case housing. So the suspension setup is the torque tube, it's a 1 link suspension.
