I consider my K5 one of the nicest also around here

mine will definitely be better than yours. sure, it may not have cab corners, or much of a bed floor to speak of. it will get its fair share of trail rash, i'm sure. chrome and straight body panels dont get you home, a well thought out drivetrain does. another thing that will put my truck ahead of yours, i will have built it with my own two hands. you cant say the same for yours.

Sounds like your building a weekend wheeler to me, not a nice truck. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif I think my drivetrain is planned out pretty good, has never failed. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif No, chrome and strait body panels don't get you home but it keeps it from being a POS and actually something nice and enjoyable to drive on a daily basis.
I have built my K5 from the ground up with my own bloody, sweaty hands. Besides the help of my GF's dad on the motor build (which we did, not a crate motor) and a good buddy of mine that has helped with 6 axle swaps, 1 motor swap, suspension &body lift add ons. Buddy, you are going to have to do a lot of wrenching to catch up. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

my dad can kick your dads A$$ /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I see both points, being someone that made a "decent" or "pretty" truck I can see the desire to have one, but on the same level I want to run the damn thing into a wall and fix it back up 50 times over. Seems building and seeing progress are the best part sometimes. And I agree that it take two trucks, well maby 3, crap 4 to have what you want...
1 hardcore blazer..
1 Blingin blazer to take the girls in
1 tow rig, crew cab /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif
