Ultra Wheel Type 181 for $106!!

Any word from Ryan on the wheels??? I am trying to budget for other things and really need wheels. Just wondering if there is an update? Thanks

He is back Monday, so I will find out the updated info on Monday. Before he left, the Ultra Wheels guy said that they should be ready to go right after New Years, so hopefully we can start getting you guys hooked up ASAP! I will let you know as soon as I find out! Does anyone have any better pics of these mounted with tires? The plain pics I would bet don't do them justice and the ones on the jeep you can hardly see.Thanks. Trying to find something other than the typical baja style.

Haven't forgot about you guys, I'm just trying to find out who I need to talk to now...you guys remember Ryan, right? Well, he no longer works with us here, so I am trying to get the info I need to get a hold of this Ultra Wheels rep...Ryan is still around, so all is not lost. I'm trying my best guys, I really am - hell, I was hoping to get a set for myself, too! I hope I don't look like a flake here, if I had control of the situation you guys would already have your wheels!

Dude, I was just messin' with ya. Everyone on this site knows you always do your best to help out where ever posible. I really just wanted to bring it back up and give you a hard time. Hey Leland,

We are going to have a position open up here soon for Invetory/Shipping/Recieving. If you have a Resume in Word format that you could e-mail me at [email protected] I could get it to my boss and see what he thinks. We are located in Carlsbad, so relocating or a long drive would have to happen. Anyway, let me know. You can always go as far as being offerd the position and the turn it down at that point if you really don't want it. L8TR Bro.

I just talked again with Ryan, and he finally got a call back from Ultra Wheels - the Manager who approved the $106 per wheel for those brand new Type 181s has not been working there since Christmas - I guess that explains why Ryan never got any return calls from the guy. Anyways, the Sales Manager in charge would not agree to extend the Special Promotion to Ryan or any of us, so I apologize for any desperation this may have caused among all of you who were interested. I myself was hoping to get a set of these, so I know how you feel! All he said was that they were available at Discount Tire and also Les Schwab Tires right now...although when I checked they were going for like $170-180 or so...a far cry from the deal I was hoping to get all of you (and myself!)

So, hope you guys aren't pissed at me, I tried and tried, but looks like we got screwed by timing and circumstance!

Again I apologize for the lengthy wait (Ryan was calling like every day for this guy as we waited) and the inability to come through like we had hoped.
