Under Dash Light

Just found out that my Jimmy has an under dash dome light! I just assumed that there was only the two on the ceiling on the cab and topper cause the bulb was blown on it. Cool! If there's anyone else out there that didn't know about it... it's under the center by the ash tray. You'll see the fixture mounting screw along the bottom edge of the dash. Hmm, learn something new every day.

hahhaa! I discovered the same thing in mine last weekend as I was running the CB wiring! I guess I never had a reason to look under there before so I never noticed it. It is nice to have it though!

And if it quits working, and the bulb is bad, bend the contacts in the connector so they put more spring pressure on the bulb. I hate the "flickering floor light" syndrome.

Really, that light only helps if you have to do some underdash work : )
