Would it be possible to mix in some paint to this product? I have some leftover from painting my firewall.

nah, not at all, ones oil based, the other water based.. just paint over it...

Yup. I brushed/sprayed that stuff on THICK in my burb... then some bedliner and paint over the top where needed with quite good results. I waited about 3wks (in the summer) to topcoat it (which I'm sure is overkill). The thick layer seemed to cure slowly.
How did you like the spectrum?

I like it well. Several coats went on 2-3mm thick! Did the sides and floor of the burb in addition to rubberized undercoating the undercarriage. I slso used the butyl adhesive sound deadening mats on the doors/roof.
