While swapping in a clutch/brake pedal assembly, I thought I tagged everything I unplugged. After reinstalling the steering column, all was good. That was a few days ago. Today, I wanted to "clean up" some of the wiring in order to reinstall the duct for the vent at the left knee. I found a plug just hanging in space. I don't remembet unplugging it, but my memory cells have been burnt for quite some time. Hence the labelling of things. The wires appear to go up over the bracket the pedals hang from. There is also a small plug coming off of it. I've lowered the column twice now, and I still can't find where they come from or go to. I've also looked at the wiring diagrams in the Haynes book. Still no luck, any help out there? The truck is an '89 Blazer.

Here's what I'm looking at. The picture was taken through the vent hole to the left of the headlight switch.

Thanks in advance!

headlight plug?

DING DING DING! You are the man, thanks!! Now I just need to see if I can make it "grow" 4inches to reach the switch. I guess I'll have to pull the column and pedal bracket again.

Thanks again. Believe it or not, I have been looking for hours.

What's with the little plug attached to it?

Thanks again you guys. You gave me lots of peace of mind. I've been wondering what was going to happen when I went to start the truck again!!

Yes, the wire is brown, but it comes off the headlight switch. I did get it plugged in this afternoon. I had to rotate the switch itself about 45* ccw to make the wires reach. Apparently, the bracketry for the clutch/brake combo is wider above the column. So far, all appears OK!

Thanks for the reply!
