Up travel in front suspension??

I like it, just don't like what the front end hits 
Its still way tall IMO. Without moving the motor you may not be able to do much about that.
Just out of curiosity what's your belly height at (i.e. what's the distance from the ground to the frame in the middle of the truck)

Well I cant really measure the belly height just yet because the ass end is still sitting way up. But right now it is 31" from the bottom of the 4X4 tubing across the front of the frame which that is pretty damn low considering it is on 49's. It is lower than my buddies suburban on 44's and my other buddies blazer on 46's.
I'm not trying to knock your truck, I'm just telling you that it is way tall for the rocks. Maybe you will be wheeling on different terrain than me and that's fine. To each his own, the big tires will make a big difference in a bunch of situations.

Thats cool I am deffinately open to opinions from everyone. I just dont really see how to make it any lower and still be on 49's.
Couple things to think about. If you raise the engine, are you going to raise the trans and T-case too? What will it do to your driveshaft angles?
As was said before, it would involve moving a lot of stuff around for clearance. If that's not something you want to do then you probably can't make it lower.
There are plenty of rigs out there running 47's, 49's, and 53's that are around 20" belly height.
With Rockwells?
I don't remember the user name, but the guy in this pic with the red K5. IIRC he sat fairly low with rocks. He was a memeber over at Texas4x4 or whatever the name was with Micah in the white K5. I will see if I can find his username. It might turn up some info for Robert.
Buggies or trucks? It wouldn't seem possible to have a truck with a belly below the hubs.

It could be very possible (remember that the frame bends up at the front and rear of the truck for axle clearance). I didn't mean to make it sound like that's what he should be aiming for (with 49's, Rocks and a Chevy frame its impossible) but 20" is a pretty standard belly height for a serious crawler.
My belly height is 23" on 42's and I'm still using the K5 frame. I have plenty of engine crossmember clearance, my truck would be lower if I wasn't still using mechanical steering.
Rockwells are top loading axles and stick up a lot more than a D60.
