Here is my first go at the arm and the driver side cap. I did the cap first just to make sure my cut speed and abrasive flow rate was right and it turned out about perfect on the first one. The cap ended up maybe just a bit wide from just test fitting it on the knuckle but I think it will work well. The thickness ended up at about 1.25" I believe which seemed like a good thickness for it. Also, I will use bolts for the cap and the stock driver side studs for the new steering arm.
I also cut the first part of the knuckle but I still need to tap the set screw hole, taper the arm, drill the dle hole and weld in the insert and it will be good to go as well.
