Update - BURB IN DRIVEWAY!!! Pics added!

It's Stitting in teh driveway!!!! Here are some pics......have many questions about it for you guys coming up! Only problem so far is the last owner didnt' mention at all that the 285's rub hard going into parking lots. They look awesome, but im not ok with haveing to enter parkinglots like i'm driving a rice rocket.....so im looking for solutions.

the owners mentioned that in 10 years, like 2 ppl have eaten in the truck. haha

THanks, i did just that this afternoon - pounded the fenders in. I also removed that plastic piece that sticks out behind the bumper in teh front to to see if it clears completely now.

Now im bummed, cause when i went to use the hypertech programmer he gave me to recal the speedo (he had reverted to stock for smog), the programming versions don't mesh and i need to get a new programmer :(

I'm gonna look into the drac modificatoins, unless someone has a bettter (read: cheaper) solution. I really want an accurate speedo!
 
No DRAC mods available for the Vortec trucks. If you have a laptop, you might want to buy this guys diagnostic software: http://www.obd-2.com/

Doesn't cost much, you can read codes and do some diagnostic testing as well as data logging. Best of all, you can correct the speedo for tires size differences. I have adjusted daleearnhardt01's truck for his 285's, and it seems to have worked.

My lazy ass still hasnt tested it with a GPS but Im fairly certain that its about dead on :bow:
 
Nice :waytogo::waytogo: The truck lools awesome too man! I love those wheels! Looks like she's real clean (the truck :wink1:) Lots of luck with her.
