Ok, I met with Boss and Fr8train today and discussed some things. Also thanks to TwoCrows for his input and help with getting letters ready to send to UCP, Paragon, and potential sponcers.
Today we discussed ideas on what to plan for the weekend and some promotional ideas. We should be ready to rock and roll in the next two weeks. Donna and TwoCrows are doing a great job at getting the formal stuff ready to make this a legitimate charity function. This is going to be a planned annual event for once a year if all goes well with this years event. I believe getting through the first one will be the hardest part.
I am now taking up a collection for the deposit to turn in to Paragon to hold the weekend for the event. We need to send in at least $150 for the deposit and Boss and I have put in the first $100. Anybody who contributes will have the amount they contribute subtracted from the cost of entering the park that weekend which is $35 per day per vehicle. I have no set amount for the deposit and will accept what you can afford at this present time. The deposit will be nonrefundable and if you can't make it to the run your portion of the deposit will be automaticaly donated to the charity. I will accept money orders only so you have a receipt of what you sent to me. Secretary Donna will keep records for everything but you will still need to keep a record also. Also even if you don't chip in for the deposit you are NOT excluded from joining us for that weekend. Also you do not need a built to the hilt truck since there are trails there from mild to extremly wild. Thanks to everybody and I pray this goes over well for us. This is for a good cause and I hope it will help the reputation of 4 wheeling.
Thanks Wayne.
Money orders can be made out to me or Donna and I will send in the deposit. I would like to have it in the mail by February 8th.
