--UPDATE W/ PICS!-- When coasting at high speeds, doubler makes gear noises

Yup- that angle is no good for a CV. You may wind up relocating your spring perches. Get an angle finder and figure out what your angles are now... I'd guess 10-14 degrees, but it needs to be like 2. HTH

If you have an angle finder put it on the shaft and get the angle reading of it. The remove the shaft from the pinion end and get a reading of the pinion angle. These two angles should be about the same. The pinion wants to be slightly lower then straight with the shaft. The picture of the driveshaft and pinion angle posted above is about as perfect as you can get, for a CV shaft application. Make yours look like that.
If you need more than a few degrees call ORD and get a set of their shims that bolt onto the spring pack. I think they make them in 2,4,6 degrees.
After you get this all corrected change the u joint at the pinion end of the shaft. I fought a drivline vibration for a long time and it always helped when I changed that u joint.

Actually we have them in 1* increments from 2 to 6, so we can get your probably closer than you can measure, given all the variables in the suspension. To check the pinion angle, you can probably find a flat spot on the back of the housing to check. The cover surface will be 90* to the pinion centerline.
