update:

far25a or far2500 also are good choices for a 1/4" AR...
check into an hbbd24 dead blow, you wont regret it..

I've got a note pad that I write down what I need to borrow and how many times I have borrowed it. And the stuff I borrow the most is what I'm going to get first. I don't really need a 1/4" air ratchet, but it will speed me up alot. I've got a crapsman professional 3/8s air ratchet and I'm just hoping it doesnt take a dump in the next 2 months or so.

IR is definitely a good impact for the money. I have the same Klien wire strippers as the previous posts and they are, by far, my favorite ones. Snap-on punches rock. OTC makes some good O2 sensor tools, someone, maybe Lislse makes an air hammer one. Check out www.thetoolwarehouse.net, they have a minimum order but their prices are really low and they usually have the items in stock and ship fast.

Yesterday I bought 2 wrench racks and a 13mm, 9/16, 15/16, and 1/4 air ratchet FAR2500. I love that little air ratchet, and its freakin powerful too. Next is gonna be a IR titanuim 3/8s impact.

13mm, 9/16, and 15/16? you mean you bought those individual wrenches? I never recommend piecing together toolsets. It ends up more expensive. Might feel like a lot to bite the bullet and buy a wrench or socket set, but it ends better IMO.

Unless your Snappy or Mac guys are giving a break on an overall set, the price is exactly the same wrench by wrench or whole set..

I don't have a matco guy, no clue on them.. wish i did.. i just know thats the case with snappy and mac, confedneck can confirm.. obviously sets are more likely to have em knock a few bucks off, etc... and monthly promotions, etc, your getting a deal..

who buys from Snappy and Mac? haha

I don't know, guess I need to break it down some more.

Very hopefully I start to learn some more about the whole thing in the near future.

ah, I musta missed that post... ya gotta do, what ya gotta do..

trying to get a new job, just had it with where I was. hammer is only temporary.

trying to work on an even more interesting career oppurtunity. Keeping my fingers crossed, but I feel like I will jinx it if I discuss it openly at this point.

sled, good luck, check my post in the s-series, will ya please??? pretty pleasE??

Yesterday I had to replace a ECT sensor and t-stat on a 04 trailblazer, Did yall know nobody carries a 18mm O2 socket? I had to cut a slit down a crapsman deep well and make one. Also I bought some flexiable hose clamp pliers from the matco guy and they are damn proud of them. $78 plus some change out the door, but ive used them about 5 times since yesterday.

those pliers are great... psst cheaper over here LOL...
18mm o2 sensor socket? why not an 18mm line wrench crows foot? or an frxm18

the ECT sensor is right behind the alternator and above the t-stat housing. I tired a crows foot and still didnt have enough room, same with the wrench. But Ive got the only socket now in the shop to get it off. If the snap-on guy would have been here I would have deff. bought from him. The snap-on rep here kicks ass. I need to look into getting a tool cart b/c I'm running out of room in my tool chest and that would free up about 3 draws full of sockets, wrenches, and screw drivers.

I'm guessing you are talking one of the big 3+ drawer carts?

I LOVE my tool cart. Best thing I ever bought. But thats just a single drawer with a folding/locking top. Still, love it. Haha, Matco of course.
