After getting off of I-15 it was all 2 lane roads to Flagstaff, AZ
UT-20
US-89
Panguitch, UT Almost got stuck in the snow at the gas station.
I ran out of film before even making it to Arizona.
Stopped in FLagstaff and headed East to Albuquerque.
The sunrise was something awesome. The heat wave from the earth could be seen across the horizon as the sun hit the snow covered ground.
It seemed the the info desk lady was right and I-40 would be open through ALBQ.
But as the elevation grew so did the white stuff.
Finally found that I-40 was closed to Amarillo and had to turn South to El Paso, TX
I ran out of film again before El Paso, and ended up spending the night in the sprawling metropolis of Ozona, TX. I like country music and am usually an easy going guy, but when you check into a hotel at 1am, and some asshole decides to play Allison Kraus at 4:30 as loud as he can, I can get a little irate.
Got back on the road at 6:30 and had to make it home, 920 miles to go.

I-10 goes clear across the coast and it's not even mentioned. I guess it was night time but still... I'm hurt, I thought we were tight here in the SE...
