urgent broken down in pocatello Id.. no longer broken down

Got him rolling out running way rich dropped both floats he took off from my place about 5:30 I assume all is good because no calls or texts yet.

Holley or edelbrock?

Actually a summit carb very much like a holley. We thought about rejetting but lowering the floats seemed to help a ton they were way high.

Very cool of you Btw!

you know how it is. Pocatello is only an hour away from me and we got it running well enough to get on the highway and get to my house.

Of course the truck stalled getting on the interstate so we blocked it for a good 10 minutes :doah: I thought the battery was gonna die. Floats were so high that if he had to stop on any angle whatsoever it would die and not refire. So it was flooding it bad. Still haven't heard from him but he did leave my house late. Hope no more problems!!!!

Post up Jeff you guys make it???? At least with the arsenal he had he coulda shot his way out of a zombie attack so that didn't happen

Well good news is we are in Cody Wy safe and sound. Truck is still running way fat with the fuel needles bottomed out in their adjustments.
It flooded out 3 times while going through Yellowstone but each time I was able to get it to refire. Finally it threw the alt belt again and stranded us 1 mile from the east entrance at 11:30 at night with no cell or cb reception. We slept in the truck and a ranger took my girlfriend out to a pay phone around 9am. Got her cousin to come get us with a trailer and towwed us to the shop he works at. Now he's
Headed back to get the haul trailer we ditched just outside the park while I finally get a shower after 5 days of driving and crawling around under the blazer.

Thanks again Eric. Amy decided next time we come through dinners on us.
I'll post more after a shower and good meal.

That is the plan. At least this area I was actually thinking Powell but only time will tell on where we land. Now on the hunt for an apt or house in our price range.
We were tired of all the BS laws being voted in in California so we left.

Cool man if I hadn't heard from you I was gonna head to yellowstone and look for you guys :D:D. I was worried it might die with it being so slow through there and stuff.

Glad to hear all is well now though.

Dinner sounds awesome man. Glad I could help out a little.

BTW for those who don't know Jeff is a good mechanic he was just way frazzled and not thinking right by the time I got to Poky. Had he been in his right mind probably would have done exactly what we did and been on his way.

I'm thinking that if I had not been locked in a truck for 3 days already and been bent over with out any lube on 2 tires I had to buy. I would not have been so frazzled. Just getting out and talking to a real person probably did more good than anything else could have. I know it saved my blazer from an untimely death from the armor piercing rounds I had with me for the sks. I was near the end of my rope I almost loaded up 10 rds and showed the truck who was boss.
