Anyone have a review of http://www.usa1industries.com/?

I just found out they have ALL the z-bar clutch parts for my '84 k10 (sm465) that the dealerships quit stocking. I'm very excited to find these parts, so I'd like to know if anyone has experience with them before I drop a few bills on spare parts.

Thanks!

ordered a dash from them last month and still have yet to receive it or get a status on it. They keep saying "this date or that" and then no show.

I ordered some interior dye and the rear cardboard tray and had great results. I talked to a guy named Randy and he was very knowledgeable.

I was one day off (after many) it arrived today and is the 73 color blue. It looks great! I will have to give them credit for that. I'll reserve extra stars after it's installed.
I rely on reviews since its a 73 and I'm all stock. Not easy to get the correct info and products. Many say something is for the 73 when it's not.

Pretty sure the dash was the same up until about 1980 so its kinda hard to screw up one for the other but I guess it could happen...

well, right off the bat I can say it will need a lot of trimming. The holes are not drilled for the front and its so much thicker than the original. I'm sure a multimaster and a dremmel will be required to get the front to fit correctly. Other than that, it "looks" correct.

Most of the replacement dash pads have a little excess on the sides and some other places as well as having to drill the holes. I think they do that with the idea that not all the dashes were positioned as exactly as people would tend to think. I watched a LMC video on the suject from youtube the other day and the installer expressly mentioned it. If you have not started yet it might be a good watch just for referencing what he does to trim the stuff. I'd tell you but I forgot already, lol.

they don't show the finished driver side corner. I've read that it does not align well

It fits exceptional. It's a dashes direct brand. That usa1 vent on the other hand....

I got a couple of dashes from USA1 and they fit very well, When i ordered them i didn't get any confirmation so wasn't sure the order went thru, then one day they showed up, took a few weeks

I ordered a dashpad from USA1, their 2 week estimate turned into 3 weeks, and now turned into 6-7 weeks.

Is it worth a 2 month wait?

Got quoted 6-7 in December of '17 and it came in around 5 weeks, the build quality is very good however they just use the aerosol dye as it was coming off in a few spots straight out of the packaging (pad was black underneath the maroon color), not in any place that you'd see once installed so it wasnt worth returning/calling about

They aren't made in house. They have them from dashes direct. Yes it's a good product imo.

I don't have experience with them but I have a few of those z bars used if you don't want to drop a few c notes

I hope not - dashes Direct does urethane dash pads, the usa1 is advertised as a real vinyl over foem like OEM.

I ordered dashes direct a few months ago and they could not make a good dash pad for 79-80. Told me that their mold is messed up.

Now I'm worried!

Call to confirm. Randy is probably the one that will answer. Hes been pretty up front with me when needed.

thanks will do. I don't like how last week they told me that it's ready to be shipped out, this week they told me that the weather is bad and they havent started my dash yet

I just got mine, and the paint is peeling off on all the corners, not what I expected from a dye. It really does look like an aerosol, I've only shown it to one person so far and he said "that shit is painted"
