Just bought a 99 sub that I think sat for a few years took it to emitions test and the obd is reading not ready on the catalyst, egr, and evap system. does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it. I got 30 days to figure it out

Just drive it. The battery was either dead or replaced. The readiness codes have to be set the only way to get them set is going to be to drive it. I have 2 99's one tahoe and one one yukon. Same vehicle though should take about 30 miles of continuous driving to get them set. When all the readiness codes are set the ecm knows everything is ok if it sees a problem then the check engine light will come on. Its just a self check that the ecm goes though when battery power has been disconnected for a while or the ecm has been reset.
