IMO the 6.2/6.5s (all years, even the newish GEPs) need each and every once of iron they can get, even the cylinder walls, no way would I bore one 0.080" for the minuscule increase in cubes. There is some rumors that early blocks had a higher nickel content but that rumor only applies to the 82 model year IIRC.
