ok guys, with my new holley truck avenger, i cant seem to get her running right still.

there are 4 vaccume ports.

1. power brake port (obvious)

2. pcv (obvious)

i get those 2, but what should be hooke dup to these 2?

3. timed spark vaccume port=?

4. full manifold vaccume port =?

if these arent hooked up right, would it give me a problem?

every time i think i get the timing and carb set right, i put it in gear to drive and she wants to die. i did take carb cleaner and check for leaks, but there werent any.

please HELP!! /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Well , if you have vacuum advance on your distributor , hook it to the spark port so it gets vacuum at cruise . The full time port is for stuff like a/c vacuum resevoirs etc , and of course auto trans like th350's , and I am sure some of the vacuum switches get full time , but if you are running a Holley you don't run all your emissions obviously /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

i just looked at a diagram, and i didnt have the vaccume advance hooket to the ignition timed, but to the full manifold one. would that make a difference? i sure hope so. ill fool with it tomorrow
