Vegas build - 4/8/10 Al's liner undercarage

Just got an email from kert at DIY4X, I ordered an aluminum dash from him, and he said it will take like 3 weeks to get shipped to me. That thing rocks....I can't wait to get it installed. Here is a pic of what it will look like. I already have the gauges, so it should go in quick once i receive it.

Hey Diggy, looks real good.....what are you doing with the Gen 1?

When I get done with the blazer, I am going to sell what's left. The body and frame, all interior, wiring, and a bunch other stuff. I will try and sell as one unit, but if i have part it out so be it.

After lining the undercarage, I got a chance to paint and install my twisted eng. x-member. This thing looks very strong and was simple to install. It's design allows you access every bolt easily.

Looks great :waytogo:, glad to see someone else do the "al's underside" . Did you add an elbow to the hopper or just leave it as it was?
I will definetly follow along, the rig is looking good so far :D

I bought an elbow at Home Depot, then broke it when I got home. Didn't feel like going back out, so i just jacked up the back of the blazer as high as possible and worked around the limitations.
