Wow, that's a damn shame... Even if it was a Ford, that body style of Bronco was only made in '78 and '79 and it looked like that thing was in awesome condition. Too bad he couldn't find someone that could use it. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

When somethin like that happens its funny all the people that come out sayin "Awww he coulda got some $$ for that thing,he shoulda sold it!".
My complete Blazer body (complete as in drove it here,pulled it off and set it on the ground)sat here behind my work for 3 0r 4 months.I let someone come and take the doors and tail gate and then it sat here for another 4 or 5 months before I had a scap metal yard come and haul it off.I was sad to see it go that way but......

But 2nd Gen Blazer bodies were pretty much unchanged from 76-91, so there are a lot of them out there. Crushing that Bronco would be more like crushing a pristine 1st Gen Blazer. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif There just aren't that many out there that are still solid. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

no doubt... smashing original body stuff for no reason is pretty lame-o. Peeps can do whatever they want with their own property, but you can bet dollars to donuts that there are some peeps out there restoring their 78s and 79s back to factory original condition and they coulda used that stuff!!!!

Hell I've got a rust free P/U cab w/ good glass that's going to the crusher. Same old story, noone wants to buy the stuff. I'd crush the bed, too but it will make an ok trailer.
