Vic Hickey 1969 K5 Baja Race Blazer recreation build

The tracking number works. It showed up on the USPS site. Confirms he got it in at 12:32 today and has it on delivery confirmation. He says it will be here Monday, so we'll see whats in the package.

Probably a bomb.

Of course, your assumptions are predicated on that package coming to YOU... I betcha it goes to somebody else, and then Monday, somehow homey says "Oh, I musta given you the wrong number..."

UPDATE 2/2/10

I got my cover in the mail today.

I'm a man of my word. I told Ron many times that once I got my cover back, I would delete all my posts concerning this matter.

I would like for anyone who posted from #149 on up to this post to please go back and edit or delete your post. This matter is resolved and I am done with it. If anyone has questions or wonders more, send me a PM or email and we'll talk. But furthermore, I'm done with Ron and want anyone who posted to delete it and let it go.

I'd also like to see Rons "banned" status lifted so he can continue to post pics and updates on his projects. That is, if he chooses to do so.

This will be my last post in this thread. I hope to see Ron back here with the buildups of his rigs, nothing else.

No, don't delete the whole thread. Too many great pics up featuring Vic and his dream.

How about just deleting all posts from #149 up to mine right here instead?

Done as per request from Wes.:wink1:

Agreed.:wink1:

Glad you got it back. However if I were in your shoes, I would leave everything up about him, and the whole ordeal. I'm not so quick to forgive and forget after being cheated, dodged and run around in circles for my own **** for a year. People say I'm an asshole though. Your a nicer man then I. :D

True and I understand but Ron also has my phone number and I would never hear the end of it if these weren't deleted. He'd be playing my game in other words. And as I told him, I'm a man of my word. Hopefully that quote can be a lesson to everyone.

Wonder how the build ended up?

Haven't seen anymore pics.

:sign6:

I'm so bad. :D

i saw the car and pickup he built in a couple of races in a four wheel and off road a couple months ago.no blazer though.

Sad to inform everyone here that I got a PM from one of the other race sites administrator that Ron has once again resumed his old ways with another poor unsuspecting soul.

Where he seemed to have disappeared from the interweb and building his projects, one would have thought he'd learn his lesson with screwing others over. Sadly this is not the case and I have been brought into the limelight about his dealings again.

Furthermore, this thread and my post here is a reminder to those who remember this fiasco and hopefully the new members who read this will learn about him and make aware of his name and surroundings. I am in no way trying to bash him or start another web fight but just simply warn anyone and everyone.

There isn't really anything to read yet as the buyer/poster has just made his thread and letting others on the other site know about Ron. What he's doing now is just waiting for Ron to reply and/or make things right. There is no bashing yet. I have been kept in the loop via PM's on the other site.
