I was there but had such a bad headache I had to leave early. Didn't even run through unfortunately. If I had been feeling better I'd have run back home and grabbed the truck Blazer on 38's and ran it despite the smoking motor in it. But I was just a spectator.

A couple parts are questionable as to being work friendly.

It's something they just started doing recently right here in Spokane. I have no idea how they have gotten away with it. There's houses not all too far away that I'm sure all the noise and lights are easily seen and heard from.

The year shown in the video was more like a drunken party, and just a short mudhole. This last year, they moved the pit down below and made a larger mud pit and added an obstacle course and had things a bit more organized. Though there was still alot of partying, it wasn't as uncontrolled and more in a behaved manner. I was probably one of very few people not drinking.

This is what the pit looked like in 2005- shown in a clip on this video "2 days after I bought it" where my Stepside has a flashing light on the roof after dark running along side a 427 powered Nissan cab.

In 2004 I REALLY wanted to go get the Truck Blazer and go after the prize which was $100 cash or 2nd place which was like $50. But I felt so bad when I arrived there I wasn't even able to drive home. This year I went in the Stepside hoping to get something, and got a 2nd place trophy. They always change the rules when I'm out for cash!
