Those sure are big files!! We made it home O.K. even though we lost our brake lights around Fremont somewhere. Man what a day! I'm so damn tired I'm gonna head to bed and I'll get drunk tomorrow.

P.S. I did see some smoke from the passenger tailpipe on the mini con. If it was a headgasket then it would have to be both. I just hope it's not the block that's cracked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I will drain the fluids when I wash it. Then bring back to the house and unload. I will try pulling the intake first then heads if I don't find any intake problem. Last would be to pull motor. I would like to pull motor and rebearing and check everything but a place to work on it will be hard to find over the next couple of weeks. Thanks for the offer to work on it there but I need it to be closer.

Nope. I took the family to the SF zoo. Spent the whole day in the city. Haven't even fixed the dually so I can haul the Blazer down and wash it yet. I think it may be the brake light switch. I'll bring home one tomorrow and try it. In the mean time I'm stuck driving the Exploder. I might just say the heck with it and put this motor aside for now and try and find a TBI motor with harness, etc. Not sure right now.
