i want to put the lmc vinyl floor mat in my truck but i am worried about moisture underneath do u think it would be better to rust bullet or bedline the floor before installation, or do u not think either would help?? and concerns, comments greatly appreciated

Anything like that should have something more like Rhino or similiar that bonds to the steel and prevents any moisture from getting to it. You want it as sealed as possible to prevent the water from reaching the steel.

Its no different than carpet IMO. I have the LMC rubber flooring. On the front I put their insulation down, but in the back I just laid the mat. If you are going to bedline it, dont bother getting the rubber mat. That is what Im doing. Im pulling up the rubber mat and having the inside LINE Xd and then sell the rubber flooring.

THe main reason Im doing this is cuz I wasnt happy with the rubber flooring. Its very difficult to put down. None of the holes are cut out, so you have to guesstamate where everything goes. The 4x4 selector is what makes it a pita cuz you cant lay the mat completely flat to cut out the holes. so the selector is the first thing that gets cut out and it is what will make or break the fit and finish of the rubber flooring. The back section was easy it just lays flat. I didnt put on the wheel well covers, looked like a PITA as well.

Im really anxious to see how my LIne X will work out, I know the rubber flooring is cheaper and less permanent, but if your thinking of covering your floor anyways, get it covered and then see if you want or need the sound deadening of the rubber flooring.
