Happy Holidays everyone! I am now the owner of an 85 K5 (in addition to my 86 M1009). This is going to be yet another distraction/project. I will post more pics when it stops raining but the first tasks will be to drop in this new engine along with replacing some of the body panels (probably easier than pounding out dents)

I've been looking through the threads but am wondering if there is any summary of what panels are interchangeable without modification? I think that 80's model C/K trucks will share the same hood, doors, front inner/outer fenders, front bumper and front grill with the Blazer. Is that true?

I know there is a comprehensive list somewhere but 81 and up front clips are interchangeable. All of the years of squarebody doors should fit. The pre 81 doors just have less screw holes for the door panels which can easily be fixed.

A basketball works as well just don't get carried away and over fill the ball, it makes one hell of a boom when it pops.

And for parts sources, a friend of mine is a dealer for precision seals in Sultan, WA and also has used parts. I'm also in Sultan and have a ton of used parts.
