Wow! Talk about bringing a thread back from life after about two months. I've got it back on the road and running well.
I've put some 02' Silverado seats in the truck which will make it very nice to cruise back and forth to Galliano, La.
Going Thursday to pick up a 8 lug 10 bolt & 14bsf both 4.10 gear and complete with brakes. Then I'll be on the search for some 8 lug 15" rims which shouldn't be to hard. I'm sure I can get some decent ones from summit for less than $300.
Is there anything special I have to do to get the above axles in my truck? Like swap driveshafts or something? Are all of the mounts in the same place? Just wanna make sure there isn't something I don't know about. I have no problem fabing something up if I have to but don't wanna be in the middle of the swap and go, AH S#!T.
After I get the axles & wheels set under the truck its back to the 4" lift. I've already got a set of front 4" lift leafs, will get a 4" steering arm with the axles, gotta go get a front 2wd hanger & bolts to do a rear hanger/shackle swap. The biggest purchase I'll have to make for the lift will be shocks. I've been watching superlifts ebay site for scratch & dents but haven't found any. If I have to buy new I hope to do the f250 shock towers with extended shocks. Are there any cheap shocks that go with that swap? I'm going to get the lift installed and then worry about new tires down the road. The 32's have plenty of tread left fr me to decide whether I want to go 33's or 35's. Considering the truck is my daily driver and it goes on 500+ mile road trips at minimal of once a month I am leaning to 33's. But my heart and soul wants 35's. Anyhow, here are some of the newest pics I have of the truck.

In the driveway saggy butt and all but not on jack stands.

Still gotta get the factory bracing before I break something.
