I have been wanting to build a new front winch bumper for my K5 for a long time, and it happens that now i am living in a house at school with fellow gearheads and my housemate with a 95 dodge cummins 4x4 just ruined his bumper at the dunes.
We have found a reasonable steel dealer and i just need to figure out how many feet of tube we will need.
We are looking at building bumpers similar to the BlazenOffroad tube front bumpers. I also want to build a stinger tire carrier similar in fashion to BlazenOffroads.
i am thinking 1.75" .120 wall DOM, or is HREW acceptable?
