Want to Go to Blazer Bash 2011 What do I Need ?

I have almost all the parts, and am finding time, I just need MORE time....

I wonder if I could talk the wife into letting me bring the yukon if the suburban sales!

So the last time my pig was out of the barn was BB07...so getting it ready is almost like startin over just to make sure all the pieces are kosher enough to go.

That doesn't include the spares, but i did find my trail driveshaft hiding under the work bench

all 32lbs of it

I thought about trying to get a gear swap done before the bash but decided to fix some issues instead. So a new power steering pump is in order to plug the leak. Then try to find where the tranny leaks at, so far no luck but it is minor. I suppose packing the wheel bearings might be in order. A little paint touchup.

I did just get the jimmy in a normal size garage, was a squeeze with 37's and 7 inches or so of lift along with a cage that sticks above the windshield frame.

Had to air down to 5 psi to make it.

I am starting my build on Monday in the AM... Gonna take a bone stock Tahoe and put it on 1 tons with air lockers, 37" Kevlar MTRs on bead locks, and an ARB bumper + winch. If all my bloody parts would have made it here on time, I'd probably have it done by the next of next week, but unfortunately only about 1/2 of the stuff made it here due to a friggin postal strike. I've recieved the very last couple things I ordered, but the first few are long gone =/

Yep got rained out today so going to check brakes, u joints and steering stuff...love the smell of PS fluid :P

That is cool, always wanted to do that to a 4 door, your's a 2 or 4 door? Hope you get it done so my wife can see how bad a$$ it is and let me build hers.:woot:

Just finished installing a Howell TBI kit on the Blazer. Started working on it Memorial Day weekend and fired it up on July 4th evening. Working on getting the timing fine tuned. But, it runs great.

No more major projects before BB.

See everyone there.

1984 K5 Blazer with some stuff added (TBI:D)

Well, had a successful week on the hoe! Most of my parts showed up, and I got the rear axle in, IFS is burned out and SFA brackets are in.

I'll have the thing ready to go for this trip, no problem! I should even have both my bumpers here for it too!

My truck is a 2 door, BTW! Gotta stick to K5 tradition :D

I just saw your other post in the driving clinic thread and realized you have a truck I've always thought would be awesome to build for a wheeler, the 6.5L equipped Tahoe. Don't see many of those.
