Hello,
I've got a 1978 Shortbox Chevy 4X4 which I've put a 1987 front clip on. However, I'm having a lot of trouble finding the correct front trim in good condition.
I'm looking to buy the four pieces of grill trim surround along with any mounting hardware that is salvageabe.
In order to make sure the correct parts are sourced, I've taken some photos of the stuff that I took off that is damanged, dinged, or bent. Please note that the top corner of the grill is a 90 degree angle, and the lower corner of the grill trim is rounded.
The first picture is the left side of the trim that I am missing (Top corner is on the left of the picture).
The second picture is a close up of the trim so the exact shape is visible as different years appear to have different shapes.
The third picture is the shape of the trim from a cross-section so the moulding shape is visible.
The fourth picture is a close up so you can see the type of ding/damage I am trying to avoid.
This fifth picture is the front of the truck with the bumper dropped so the trim and its location is visible. You will note I am missing the left and right side.
If someone has a set of this I can buy, let me know the cost.
Thanks!
