Hey Guys,
My 3.08s aren't cutting it anymore and I am certainly not going to pay someone to upgrade the gears in half ton axles so I am looking for a set of 3/4 tons for my 73 K5.

I would really really really prefer a D44 front since I already have a bunch of D44 accessories but would possibly consider a 10 bolt front.

I am looking for either 4.10s or 3.73s for the gearing but would prefer 4.10s and really I am looking for axles that are ready to run. If they need wheel bearings and stuff that is fine but nothing that needs the gears installed or a full rebuild.

Looking to spend about 700 max and that would be for a really clean set. 400 seems to be about market down here in So Cal.

If you have a full 3/4 ton drivetrain with a 465/205 combo in it, I am looking for that as well so we could make a package deal.

Must be in So Cal around 150 miles from Orange County.

Thanks,
John

I have a rear 14 bolt ff with 3.73 gears with a gov lock off a running truck and a front 10 bolt with 4.10 needs calipers, backing plate and hubs. I stay here in so-cal pm for more info if intrested.

Thanks dude. I am hoping to find a full set with matching gears so I can just bolt on and go but I'll keep your 14 bolt in mind if I find a solo front somewhere.

I also have a good set of 4.10 gears for the 14 bolt ff. just letting you know.:waytogo:

Well let's see:
I have a D44 and 14bsf and ff in 4.10
I have a 10bolt and a 14bsf and ff in 3.73
I have a couple of SM465/205 one is 10 spline and one is 32 spline.
What else do you want, maybe I can deliver close enough that you would meet.
Is Fresno close enough or do I need to go down further south?
I will be in fresno this coming tuesday morning.

Damn, do you have any 4.10 gears for the 14bff? I am contemplating throwing a Detroit in the rear anyway so I could always do gears to match the dana 44.

Pm me a price for the d44, 14bff and the 32 spline 465/205.

I could probably meet in Fresno but it would have to be on a weekend. I should be able to fit all that in an avalanche with the rear seat down right? Not needing a trailer would make it easier.

Oh, and I could use a pedal assembly and clutch and anything else you have that I might need to swap from Auto to Stick.

Well, I have a manual pedal setup and I will have a hydro setup in a couple of weeks.
I don't think I have any 4.10 gears left for a 14bff, but I will double check.
The 14bff axles I have in 4.10 are:
1ton with Goc loc
3/4 ton open.
I will send you a PM with prices and a package deal price delivered to fresno (maybe I can drop them off at Avery's or someone there and you can pick them up?
Or I could deliver to Socal if I get the trip down to Vista, I am told I might be going down there in a couple of weeks.
You would have to meet me on the way.
I will PM you in the morning.

Sweet, if you do have a 3/4 ton open 14bff that would be perfect and if you do get the trip to Vista, I could meet you anywhere you like cause you should be passing right by me. If not I'd be cool leaving them with another member in Fresno and going up to get them. I have all next weekend open so that wouldn't be a big deal.
