Looking for 6 lug 10 bolt outers or entire axle if cheap enough. I need 3 or 4 sets of big bearing spindles and hubs and a pair of caliper brackets. Also looking for a pair of 10 bolt/dana 44 internal lockouts.

Hoping for something fairly close or between me and the virginia house.

Shipping would probably work out ok on just outer pieces since they should fit in a flatrate or two. I know theres some guys that just scrap off the half tons so I thought I might get lucky and find someone thats got junkyard bound stuff anyway.

Ive got some spicer lockouts that I honestly doubt ill ever use...

Honestly I have no idea how the damn things go together :haha:

I swapped out 6-lug to 8-lug last summer, and I still have all the 6-lug stuff. Hubs, backing plates, and lockouts (automatic). Make an offer if you don't find something more local.

Cool. I'll let you know if I come up short. Do you have spindles?

I just junked mine two weeks ago :doah:

Damn it lol.

Guess I'm not sure what you meant by internal lockouts. My bad lol.

I meant wheel hubs for internal style lockout. Not the old style ones where they bolt on the outside.

Adam, what you have is most likely what he was originally asking for, especially if you're not familiar with the older style. Most of the trucks on this site are too young to have come with external lockouts. Here is a picture of what they look like:

I'm not sure if the outermost section is a normal Warn lockout (kinda looks like it), but the whole assembly bolts directly to the outermost surface of the hub instead of using internal splines & a snapring like your axle does.

I know what external lockouts are. Nates d60 has them. Thats why I thought my internal spicers were what he was looking for. I didnt know he mean the hubs themselves.

Also looking for a pair of 10 bolt/dana 44 internal lockouts.

I do, also as a product of the swap. I took outers from a 1978 D44 and swapped them onto my 1984 10-bolt axle.

So I have the '84 outers and the '78 spindles. I have been told that the spindles are swappable, but I have never tried it. I do know the bearing surfaces are compatible (as my truck is still rolling nicely :))

I've been thinking of parting out the D44, as Mitch wants the gears for his truck. Maybe. Kinda. Later. Or something like that. I think that project has been semi-permanently postponed. :dunno:

But the spindles are still there. :thumb:

Sweet! :thumb:

Since you are trying to push the limits of your truck (suspension-wise, at least), why wouldn't you keep the lockouts assuming that you'll be snapping something sooner or later?

If your 10 bolt out worked on the dana 44 spindle then its all big bearing regardless.

What do you want for the outers?

I need spindles, wheel hub (minus the rotors, too hard to ship), and caliper brackets. I could use the locking nuts/washers too for the spindle.

I find this hilarious I cant find a 10 bolt front by me for a hundo...

Yeah I have a couple of sets I don't need sitting here! :haha:
