Got some pics of this Ford?

Yep sure do Its a 77 F100 on a 77 Highboy frame with some very scary suspension mods....... It's in MN at my dads in the process of getting a new highboy frame and 60 front 14 bolt rear and a NP435 behind the 428 that came in the truck

What are the specs on it?

Highboys are known as PITA's for their steering. There's nothing readily available to convert them to power steering either. I've seen a few kits offered out there but those are small time fabbers/sellers, etc.

Yeah I bought a kit for it from http://www.benchworksteering.com/F250conversion.htm

Good kit fairly easy to do.

The truck has a 428 FE motor not a cobra jet or anything special like that I think it came out of a LTD or Continental it has a Mild Cam and intake , headers,DUI distributor,750 Holley 4150, 3" exhaust with 40 series Flowmasters super 40's it had a C6 (most likely came with the 428) Truck originally had a 4-speed . it has a NP205 That I twin sticked and we just got a PTO winch for it . were gonna go with trimmed/Sectioned fenders,2" body ,4" suspension , and 42" TSl's,5.13's with Detroits , and Fix the A/C

I've got a kit similar to yours but got it off eBay. Not sure if I'm going to use it though. Been looking at several different steering boxes that I've round up to "hold it up and eyeball it" on the frame to see what hits, fits and go from there.

428! I'd love to find that size crank or an aftermarket stroker crank for the FE engines. But the more I think about this, the more I'm leaning towards a 460 block with all new stroker parts to get the cubes between 500 and 600 cubic inches. It can be done for around $1500 for the rotating assembly. I doubt anyone could do that with an FE motor.

I'm still trying to locate a front D60 for my '75. I've already got the rear D70 out of a '73 Super Camper Special. The whole idea with this Highboy is to make it something Ford never offered: an F350 Highboy.
I've heard of rumors they did have such a truck but not with the HPD60. The 60's I heard about were closed knuckles and low pinions. But very, very rare trucks and most were the crew cab trucks.

The Kit was a Birthday present from my Awesome GF she's a Bowtie girl but she knows my weakness for Highboys lol she even drove my 76 Highboy for a few months before we got her the 76 K20 Crew Cab

a 460 stroker would be cool but to me, Highboy = FE motor . so I'll give up some HP for the cool factor !! Plus mounts, headers, flywheel and clutch housings make the swap spendy.

what motor and trans does yours have?? If you need some goodies I have a yard full of ford crap in New Mexico

I know about $pendy BBF parts. I'm looking at the L&L Products stuff to do the swap. Even the fenderwell headers, too. Over $2500 for everything needed to swap.

My '75 currently has the 360/435 divorced 205, small ball light duty closed knuckle D44 and D60 both with 4.10's.

What kind of "goodies" do you have? Got any HP60's?

Oh yeah, this thread has been hijacked several posts up.

No but , I do have a the bell housing you need to do the 460 swap especially if your time table is flexible

How much for the tires/rims outright? Friend of mine was here last night looking at the pics and you got his attention.

1800 firm plus the ride.

I dont really wanna SELL them but I would trade. if i cant find a trade I'll just save up money for the axles.
