Want any F250 4x4 between the years of '73 up to '79.

Need not be running. Can have engine, tranny, t-case, or not. Prefer to have the frame, cab and front and rear axles. Whole body would be nice but not as important.

If you have the F350 in the '78 or '79 year, that will do, too.

What do you guys have that you want to get rid of, cheap too. :D

Oh, would also like any Ford parts for said above truck between the listed years, too.

Such parts are any engines, trannys, t-cases, axles, etc., etc. Body parts are a plus.

Already have an '85 K30. Want to go Ford since my very first truck I bought with my own money back in high school was a Ford 4x4.

I buy Trucks for parts all the time. I mainly only need the axles. I have a Ford 435/205 in my shop for sale right now and I'm dealing on a 78' F250 HD right now. The body is sopposed to be good. I also know where 3 73-79 f150 4x4 are and my uncle had a 79' f150 2wd built 351w 4spd for $600 and a 76' F250 2wd rebuilt 460 auto $1000. Let me know if you're interested in anything.

I'm interested in the '78 F250 with the good body. No 2wd's please. And no F150's either. Gotta be an F250 or 350.

OK,I'll keep you in mind. Ialso takled with a guy I know who is looking for trucks for me and he knows where a bunch of 73-79 f250 4x4's are but they're all beat ranch trucks.

How about a good runnin 460, would you be interested in something like that? PM me if so.
Heck yeah, I'd be interested in that in a heartbeat but not sure if I want to pay to get that motor here from where you're at. :eek1: Unless you were doing a road trip, then yes, I would do it.

BTW, I've got a complete 454 rebuilder to trade.

If they are beat, don't matter as long as I can find them with good, straight, unrusted, unwelded, unbent virgin frames and good axles that need or not need rebuilding and a cab thats in fair shape or better. I'm still open for such trucks as long as the price is right.

Keep in mind, these old beat ranch trucks mean cheaper asking prices, right? :waytogo:

I know where there might be a 93 4x4 F250 w/460  but its the wrong yr your looking for.

I've got a 460, C-6 and transfercase(aluminum) out of a 86' F-350. Actually It's complete, minus the front axle and bed. The 460 has an Edelbrock carb and manual choke.

Or a

89' F-250 302efi, 5 speed and aluminum transfercase.

Had a 78'F250 about a year and a half ago, just what you are looking for.....shedder time:doah:

You're right. Wrong year.

Sounds like your aluminum t-case is the Borg Warner 1345 or something like that.
I'd take that 460 and the D60 front out of that F350 if you still have the D60. Isn't an '86 model year Ford D60 able to bolt under the older trucks like what I'm looking for? In other words, whats the cut-off year of the wider and narrower spring perch mounts on the front D60's?

79 is the last of the narrow spring pad width

d60 is already gone. And it is to wide for our trucks anyway. 78' -79' ARE THE ONLY YEARS THAT FIT. sry, caps lock:doah: We might be able to do some trading if you are interested in the 460:D

What info can you tell me about the 460?

My 454 is out of an '83 K30. Got it from Jackedjimmy350 in case you want to PM him and get the full details about it. From what I understand, it just started to knock and he pulled it out. Its complete minus the A/C and power steering pump.

I'm not minding the 460 to be a runner or not as I'm planning to do a rebuild and soup it up. Just want to make sure it is complete and has the necessary brackets.

Where can we meet to swap?

Whole truck runs and drives but I am keeping the axels unless you have a 14 bolt then i don't need the rear
$100
