Hello all,
Learned the hard way that using a 20T press to insert new joint in yoke isnt a good idea... Cracked the yoke on my front driveshaft (GM design). Would trade for 4 brand new shocks (Monroe OEM lenght) without quadra front setup. Got only 10 miles on em, replaced with RC lift kit. PM for details please. Thanxs!

ya you dont need a press to do ujoints. just a vise and a 4 lb hammer and a few hand tools. and dont press them in with a vise ether.

try your local drive line shop if no one here has one.

That's exactly what I did after I welded in the dammaged area. I was very surprised how easy it went in! Anyone has one for sale and willing to ship? Thanxs!

Which yoke?
The one on the driveshaft Tcase side or Axle side?

Its the smaller one, axle side, front driveshaft (other end is CV joint). According to LMC catalog, there's 2 different DS models, GM and spicer. Mine is GM. Thanxs!

I will check my inventory

I've got one, looks like its in decent shape. I've never noticed any difference between the Dana 44 and GM 10 bolt as far as driveshafts go and I know I've interchanged them since they both use the same mounting flange at the tcase and the same 1310 u-joint at the axle. I just don't know if there is a difference in the slip shaft. If you can use it $10 plus shipping and its yours.
