Here's the deal- right now I have no money and won't have any for quite a while, my K5 is sitting in the garage as a 6000lb paperweight needing a few things to complete it that I have no money for. So, I am thinking of selling its front and rear bumpers, winch, lights, tube doors, and sliders (all have dibbs called on them but the frontend stuff). If I can sell all of them, I can afford to build a rollcage, some simple basic front and rear bumpers, get a few misc parts I need to get the truck on the road. That way, it'll be on (and off) the road again! :waytogo:

I just need to line up buyers for everything before I start unbolting stuff! I don't wanna sell anything unless I can sell it all!

Okay, here's what may be for sale, lemme know if you are interested and make me some offers!

Offroad design low profile front bumper $575 plus shipping (dibs have been called)
Link to ORD's site and pricing:

2 wheeling trips and about 1000 road miles paint very scratched but no actual damage to metal (their price is for shipped bare anyway)

WARN 9500ti winch $900 plus shipping (dibs called!)
Link to random site's pricing (unfortunately for me there's a $150 rebate now!):

Some light rust on handle and cable due to being on rig. (Most can probably be wiped right off) Was installed but never used, cable hasn't ever even been spooled out

Baja design SolTek lights $200 plus shipping (dibs have been called)
Link to random site that shows pricing (IIRC, they are the driving beam):

Used for about 4 hours total, have been on truck for 2 wheeling trips and about 1000 road miles. No visible damage.

damn I cannot afford, but bump for you!

I wish ya could! Thanks bro! :waytogo:

Lights shipped to 91915?

Looking at USPS estimator, it would be cheapest at $25.21 for regular ground shipping. I think it'd be a little higher since I would probably want to put insurance on them just in case something happened in transit but, I didn't see a way to plug that in. If ya wanna make an offer, shoot me a pm! Thanks!:thumb:

Tought this was a feeler post

$150 for the lights

It is a feeler post but, part of that (to me at least) is seeing what things can go for too. I mean, people could say they want everything on the list but, that doesn't mean they're willing to pay a fair price for it, know what I mean? There's a bunch of other items I'm thinking of selling to and all of them already have buyers with concrete prices figured out. I just have to line up buyers for this stuff too to make it worth my while to take it all apart! :D

I may be interested in the front bumper, you said "scratched but no metal damage" right.? If you could, give me a shipping price to 21230 Baltimore MD, business addy w/ docks and lifts etc. Depending upon shipping I may be really interested in it ; and if possible do you have any closer, i.e. better, pics of it? Thanks in advance -Josh

Yeah i know where you going at.

I coud use thoose lights, let me know on it

How about $180 shipped? That's if everything sells.

I will borrow my gf's digital camera and see if I can take some pics today, they won't be the best 'cause the Jimmy is crammed into the garage with stuff stacked on it right now (the Jimmy's top leaks so, I had to do my best to fit it into the garage in a stall that was already full of miscellaneous stuff, it BARELY fits! LOL!).

I don't have a pallet or anything like that so, for shipping I'd probably do what ORD did when they shipped it to me- wrap it in bubble wrap and cardboard! It'll probably be pretty pricey on shipping (it's big!) but, I'll try to get as good a quote as I can!

EDIT: sent ya a pm on a possible idea for the shipping!

Anybody got a recommendation on shipper for the bumper? I have never shipped an oversized item before and all the quotes I can find thus far are ridiculous! I could drive up there, spend a night on the town, sleep in a five star hotel and drive back for less than what I have found shipping quotes wise so far! :eek1::dunno::screwy:

Here's a shot of the Jimmy crammed in the garage looking over my roommate's car with my girlfriend's car outside do you can see better! (told y'all it's buried! :haha:):

The scratches on the bumper have a little surface rust but, a quick sanding, and a shot of primer and paint will clear that up! (The paint is Rustoleum gloss black so touchup will be easy).

The lights do show some color fading on the plastic housings and a bit of surface rust on the bolts but other than that, they look like new.

The winch has a little bit of surface rust on the cable and the handle (from being mounted on the truck) but, doesn't look like anything major to me (you can see it all in the pic).

I think that about covers it! :waytogo:

More shots can be added if need be!

Hey BlowedUp,

Wish you were closer, I'd take the whole setup if it didn't cost a fortune to ship to CA. Would your bumper even fit on a '79 blazer?

On an unrelated note. Those look like H2 wheels you have there. How do you like them? I have been thinking of trying to find a cheap set and with some 315/70R17 tires or 35's. I am in the process of converting to a 14bolt FF rear and doing an 8 bolt conversion on my 10bolt front. Did you use any spacers or was the backspacing not a problem?

Hey Tony! Yeah, shipping would be absolutely killer to CA! :eek1: But, no worries, I don't think it would fit a 79 (different frame horns?).

Good eye! Yup, they are H2 rims! Good rims that can be had for cheap since all the H2 owners seem to like to put bling bling rims on. I run a 14bff rear and a dana 60 front, here's what I discovered with them:

In my opinion, in the rear they look a bit too sucked in without spacers so, I ran 1.5" spacers out back to even up the track width. But, that doesn't seem to be a necessity, I've seen several people running them with (as far as I know) no rear spacers.

Up front, the wheel weights hit my 1 ton TREs' boots originally but, we went to a slimmer boot design and there are fine but, they are VERY close so, you may wanna check your clearance when ya bolt them up.

That's it that I can recall. I really like them and they are a great looking budget way to go! If you are lucky, you can get them with fairly new original 35" (I think your right with the 315/70R17) all terrains on them (since that's what came on the H2's OEM). Sounds to me like you've got a good plan! :waytogo:
