also hes getting a new bumper and billet grille.

first off wat do u think....? up here theres not too many i can look at with no rust.

Also its to be expected that the steering wheel will be looser than my 96 obs?
I think it had a little play in the wheel too is that to be expected?

umm and since it 2 yr old gas it smelled bad

And another the guy has cut off the catalytic converter and he put a turbo muffler with no turndown or nothing would it be wise to run a tailpipe? to prevent fumes from entering the cab

that sounds like a good deal to me. i got an 88 with no rust and 140,000 miles for $5,000. A little play in the steering is normal so nothing to worry about there. you may smell a little exhaust while driving with the back window down and while sitting at a light so you may want to run pipes out the sides. the only thing i was thinking about is if it has been wrecked because of the front bumper and grille. truck looks good and sounds like a good deal to me.
 
the owner said he has the old grille and bumper but they dont shine lol

he said he just hasnt had time to go to summit and get one....Im not buying it until i get the bumper
 
have you fired it up yet? If the motor has been sitting that long i would expect it to have some problems... also might want to prime it before you start it if he didn't start it up every month.
 
yea it started and everything on 2 yr old gas i took it on a 5 min drive and it rode good but it had a little play in the steering but i figured that

im goin over today with my dad and hes gonna drive it
also i want to check the A/c and heater
for some reason on the shifter there is no needle to tell me if im drive or wat i just guessed
 
looks nice and if all is good think would be worth it. Pics of inside? when dad drives it maybe.
 
welp im getting it 3500 needs a new grille and bumper I pick it up wednesday :D

wow that is EXTREMELY clean, hope you take good care of it! a rust free truck in the north east/midwest is rare! awesome truck. dont be scared away by the lil things like steering and such its an older truck so thats expected.
 
yea man i almost gave up on getting one cuz I wanted to see it before I bought it and up here they are few and far between.
