Looks good, we made something similar but for the rear of a truck to go in the receiver. What are you anchoring to in the back of you blazer?

for now we are hooking it to the trailer hitch with a shackle.later i will build tie down mounts on the roof.

You guys get that idea from some of them posted on Pirate? very nicely done. If I had a yard with all my stuff in I would build one too. Very handy to have. Thats what I call an Over the Winch Anti-Gravity System :wink1:. Good job.

no didnt get the idea from pirate.have seen them on buggys around here since i was a kid.we just finaly got around to building a set.
the bars are 1.5" sch 40.

todays bored projects

first we decided to weld the rear diff and fit a set of 42s to gus's girlfriends truck so he could wheel it-he did ask permission first.
after that we decided that the international crew cab i got as a freebie needed and bit of lift and a d60 front axle.we ended up with about 6" of lift and moved the axle forward 6" or so.we put my 44" spare on it to see how things fit.this is at ride height.24" frame clearance plenty of room for turning and flex.we used a set of chevy front springs to move the axle forward and moved the front mount.here it is mocked up.
also our helper that was really bored lol

There was a guy on Pirate that got his truck all smashed up with one of those. IIRC he left it hooked up to something overnight and it rained, shorted out his winch controller and it sucked in until it buckled it onto the top of his rig.

that is a pretty cool build, im sure it comes in handy up there! i must say you guys have a lot of cool stuff around the yard up there?

I've been thinking about building one that I can swap from the front to the back of the blazer... Also to the front of the crew cab...

The poles are handy but the hard part is finding a place to carry them on the rig when they're not in use.
