Weather stripping

I'm going to just get precision, they have what I want. I really didn't expect to it to be so expensive but... mine are completely shot so... it's a needed upgrade
Yeah, pricey but on a nice truck I think they are worth it. I have tried soaking the door seals in armor all and such to try and save them. It just isnt like a new seal. After new ones the door closes and actually seals. The wind noise is much better. It just makes the truck better to have nice rubber seals.

I totally understand guys getting sticker shock about weatherstripping. After doing a crew cab, couple burbs and a k5 I would say its worth it. Good seals make the truck feel nice.
Agreed about the sticker shock. Its probably 1500 in weather stripping on a k5, including windows, doors, fiberglass top, rear window Etc

Lmc has the same door seal for less than half the price of precision

watch out for what you get. Some door seals are not in spec and cause problem with the door closing. you may have to adjust the door to allow for more space with a newer door seal.

Jon Addington is an independent dealer for Precision and the guy I buy seals from. He is a one man show and still makes paper receipts though. You can call or email to set up your order.

Jumping on the bandwagon here, I need a full kit for my Suburban and Precision's site says its out of stock, so I just hit up the guy above to see what he has.
