weatherstripping help

Hey all, I just bought the weatherstrip (from LMC) that goes around the door glass on the top and drip rail deflectors. I see how the deflectors mount to the A pillar but have no idea how the seal and the deflector tie together. And since there are no holes in the weatherstrip for the little clips to go through into the top, do you have to poke holes in them?

Anyone have any detailed pics of this area? I did a search but came up empty. Any help would be great. I like pics. I can take some of the area described if need be.

Ive only seen pictures of the deflector but never seen one in person.

Not sure if this helps, but I took some pics of my weatherstripping. It seems to have been glued on... not sure if it was done correctly by the previous owner.

Anyways, hope this helps

Looks correct. It's supposed to be glued on.

Thanks guys. Any ideas on the way it all ties together near the top and windshield. The driprail deflector and the seals the top and the windshield. sure is a lot going on up there.

Also any idea who makes the best adhesive? I read about some green crap f*rd makes, any one here try it?

Seems to have been a lot of bickering back and forth on the 67-72 truck site about adhesives and how well they hold up over time. Ill give the black a try once I figure out how this goes together.
