Weatherstripping tips

Thanks I’ll give that a go tomorrow and see where I end up

Almost there...but have a new problem. didn’t get to look at it yesterday but been working on it tonight. Got the window weatherstripping in. Did what @mrk5 suggested and loosened the back track. I basically pulled the window entirely out of the front vent window track and just snaked the weatherstripping down and then pushed it in.

My new problem is that I think my window is now tilted slightly forward. There’s a gap at the top front and back corner (yellow arrows), but I think it is actually hitting the top in the back quarter (red arrow).

can I adjust the tilt somehow?

About the only way I can think the window would get tilted is if the regulator is angled. I think there are about 4 bolts that hold that in; you could try loosening those and see if you can get the glass level like you want.

I may just need to snag a new regulator & motor for this window before I put it all back together. This window has always been slower than the passenger side and all of the wheels on the regulator that I can see are locked up

I usually spray lube the wheels and track any time I have the inside panel off.
