Weekend wrenching - how did it go?

Got the 241/205 doubler bolted up into the truck, still need to cut the floor for clearance, and fab up a crossmember or two.

Pulled the motor trans and t-case from Patty's K20 , Stripped the interior out of my new Gray crew cab, Stripped the interior out of my Blue Crew Cab, Installed good components in gray crew cab, Installed a new trackbar and modified the CAD in my old Dodge. Swapped tires on my Burb, re-organized my garage , repaired sisters Polaris Sportsmen 500. Drank lots of Crown and Coke,PBR,and Alaskan Amber

Water pump on a duramax. Built a front driveshaft brake lines installed suspension buttoned up on another guys rig. I did look at my rig though, several times

Tore my D60 down, put new ring, pinion, and Yukon locker in. Of course all new bearings and seals were replaced. Installed 2 new kingspin kits. Took awhile to dial in the gears. Cussed alot. Spit venom. But...I emerged the winner and the D60 is ready to go back under the Big Red Truck (BeRT).

I built a 700r4 for my bros heep then drank beer and stared at my rig...i really need to work on it...:doah:

- Rebuilt my TBI unit (twisted fuel line at the connection during removal)
- Went to Junkyard and got a new fuel line, speedo, and floormat
- Installed fuel line and TBI unit
- Installed new EGR Solonoid

Watched our house get framed......

hhmmmm... let's see...

My K5, adjusted the alt belt. That's it.

Someone else's 95 K1500, complete tune up, new alt and belt, adjust TPSensor, check vac leaks.

got my sbc running again, which is huge motivation to get it back under its own power since its been down for a few months. just getting it timed up and can definitly feel/ hear a difference out of the new parts i put in. time to keep spending i guess!

Almost finished organizing the garage, pulled my 14 bolt out to move the perches AGAIN (I swear I'm linking it if I change my mind on the rear suspension again). Discovered the crush sleeve will laugh at my 900 ft-lb impact, and my vice table is not strong enough.

Spent a long time sitting over a bare 14 bolt trying to decide if I should shave the ring gear and plate it. Still haven't come to a conclusion on that. I can't figure out if I like how it will seal if I go down that road.

Girlfriend drug me to a bar Saturday night. We (as a couple) got hit on by a guy, wtf! Funny, the bouncer hassled me because I didn't have "nice" shoes on. I told him I wore the only shoes I don't weld in :dunno:

It went well.. I still got lots to learn but my new hubs and bearings are a big plus.. Having a few beers and feeling pretty damb good:D

Fri- went south to Denver and ordered some bilstiens for the duramax. Bought a backup camera that works with my CTS since boulder did not design parking spots for crew cab lifted diesels.
Went to the stampede that night and hung out with the girl.

Sat- went to the CU game. Nice to see a win for once. That night watched more football.

Sunday lounged until 4 then got my suit on and went to the band banquet at the school with the GF ( yep she a band nerd) pretty nice setup they held it in the club level at the field.

Mon- finally found someone to modify my P/s line for the blazer. Picked up done BWW installed the shocks on the D-max and stared at the blazer wondering if im ever gonna get it running.

Then went and watched football.

Tomorrow? Job search continues.....

Finished up my Cobra 29 install, and almost got my rear tail-gate glass to drop all the way flush. Just gotta get back in there and give one of the two stops a little more persuasion.

Nice to chill out and work on some little details (albeit in between hellacious wind gusts).

Then went and cut wood with some buddies in the mountains, followed by home-made pulled pork, brews, and some football. :waytogo:

Goatherder's ORD disconnects showed on Monday, so that'll be next!

Installed raised steering arm. Thought about replacing ball joints, but should be getting new knuckles soon for crossover, so scratched that. Installed zero rates and a leaf in my front spring pack. New U-bolts. New brake lines. Went and got a 2wd sector shaft. Started building some front end shock towers. Took mt front D shaft in to get lengthened and rebuilt. Hung the doors on my 56 chevy pick up. AND moved a whole **** ton of snow.
