weird acting engine *problem still, no help yet*

to read the codes, access the computer connection that u would hook a scanner into. then put a paper clip between #6 and #12 ports. then turn on the ignition, but dont start it. if u start it, it will b running on a "failsafe" setting set by the factory and will either run like crap or die
