Not much really but it's the shape of the cutouts, the Typhoons have an oval hole where the D7's have a triangular saw blade like cutout.

I actually bought a set from Washington and a local CK5'r is helping me get them shipped. Since they're so hard to find I still plan on buying another set if I find more.
