Welding cart

A while back I got a roll around single drawer cart for free. Decided to put my welder and plasma cutter on it.

It was a cheapie to begin with and I needed it to roll easier. It was also falling apart. So I modded it.

Kind of bummed cause I need to change where my discs go and I need to change the hangers for the welding gun and ground. But no biggie. It rolls super easy now







That whole thing pretty much cost me 50 bucks to build. The price of the casters. Couple more changes and I will be really happy with it

Looks really good. I just repurposed an old dolly to hold my welder and tank. I like the u bolt hangers you've got. I havent welded anything in a while, might be time to add some stuff to my cart.

yeah, I really need to make one.. the little one that came with my welder does ok for getting it around the LAB™, but I really need a roll-around, "station" that holds that, AND my plasma..

the plasma just get's stuffed in a shelf somewhere... plus a good hangar setup for the cables, helmet, etc would be nice... maybe a drawer....

When I first got this I just cut the top so it would fit the welder and plasma. I had it that way for a while.

I was looking at harbor freight stuff and even if you had to bug everything new I think you could put it together for less than 200.

This big wheels are so nice. It rolls over extension cords, air lines, general crap on the floor even easily pops over some 2" square and 1.5 round I had on the floor

That's the one I have, only real upside is the drawers and storage it provides and I think I paid a $160 for it. Pure laziness on my part

now that I have a plasma I need to figure out how to modify it
