Well, its been pretty close to 6 months. My left sleeve is completely shot.

Get a good leather set of sleeves with a bib, split cowhide is the best. You can figure out what you might need by looking at what they have to offer. It would be best to go to a welding supply co. not a big box or your corner hardware store. Don't buy cotton to protect you from fire.. Go ask the experts.

Yep, got the leather sleeves/apron. Sucks. Got the green sleeves. Don't like them either. Welding supply co. visits my shop every week.

When I was at a bench welding all day, the leathers were fine. These days i do alot of other things besides welding so they usually don't work the best.

I'll keep trying things till I find something that works with as diverse as my day can be.
