Anyone know where a good cheap place to get quality welding supplies is online? I went to a local store today but they had nothing of interest. I need to get some .030 wire but the store just had 12lbs spools and no tips anywhere  I didn't expect much since its just some little spot in Indiana PA. I can't get to the shop I usually go to(Monday-Friday 8-4:30). Want to get things like angle magnets and nice gloves and maybe some sleeves to protect my arms.

I was more looking for ones people had experience with, I can search google all day long :wink1:

The Welding Depot one is where I am looking right now.

The 1st one is the one I see mentioned the most on truck boards.. It seems to be where a lot of people order their stuff from.. I haven't seen any negative post about them so I guess that would be a good one to order from if the prices suit you..

i've used welding depot as others said. i've also used cyberweld.com

between the two, i found the best prices for reequipping a shop. everything else i used an industrial tool supply place, sells way below retail.

Isn't there a Tractor Supply in Blairsville? I thought that I remembered one on 22. I actually work with a guy from Blairsville, so I'll ask him about local welding supplies.

haven't seen a Tractor Supply, there is an old Agway that shut down some time ago on 22 in Blairsville. There is a Tractor Supply in Indiana. I'm gonna look at Lowes this weekend when I go home. I don't feel like driving to Indiana, Lowes is like 5 minutes from my house back home.

Ya, definatley hit Lowes. They carry Lincoln wire and I really like it! Tried some Forney's and Weld-it wire from other places and neither was anywhere near the quality of the Lincoln wire.
The Forney's wire wasn't too bad and the Weld-it wire was absolute garbage!
