Fred Flintstone called. He wants his truck back.

no project is to big as lond as you take it in stride, really the only thing wrong with it is there is no floors or bed

o the best part was i only gave 400 bucks for a running truck with a 4 speed in it and good tires.

i have had 2 trucks worse than that.

79 and 80 k30's only thing on the 80 holdin the box together was the drop in bed liner. and 79 cab droped to frame when it got 3" of air on a snow pile jump and the cab folded up when removed. :haha:

haha yea the frame behind this one is my bonanza, im building it right now but its been slow going, it has a 14bff from a 99 van soon to be 56'' rear springs shackle flip and 52's up front with zero rates on them and right now a 8 lug 10 bolt but im searching for a good cheap dana 60. this truck is so i can break away from the rather girly toyota corrola on the weekends lol, i just scored a 4'' lift for free for it.

sweetk30, how do you have a 1978 k30 with 37k original miles on it lol did it blow up forever ago and just now get fixed or like a state truck

called ad in local swap / cheep sheets for a 1/2 ton for 500 as my buddy needed a frame. well wrong one for his needs. guy asked whats it for ? i said mud truck. he said i got what you need . got a k30 up top the hill in the tree line on the huge hay feild.

hopped in his 3/4 ton farm truck with auction purchased 35" 16" wide boggers on aluminum rims. had to see this farm truck. :haha: went up and looked at it.

blown motor and just sittin there. said 500 and take it home. so i did. :thumb: still read 3 # on the factory sticker for the rear leaf spring. :eek1:

some times thay fall in to our laps. just got to be ready to catch them before thay fall threw.

do the floor with plexy glass, seeing the ground is cool as you crawl over it :) would help you avoid large rocks and such
