well here she is

sweetk30- thats pretty lucky find man i wish i could have some of that good luck lol im only able to find 1/2 ton trucks for mildly cheap but i do have good luck finding parts. i may have just scored a gm dana 60 fromt for 300 bucks from a friend so who knows lol

muddybuddy- that would actually be kinda cool and if i think it would be up to the stress and i wasent goin to run carpet and stuff i might have tried it lol hmmmm maybe someday lol

yzeater- yea thats true but you can find some half tons with a few good parts on them but a k30 would be the best starting point id say.

scottsdale86- must just be a west coast thing being scared of rust and stuff lol. compared to what ive seen up at school (northern ohio) this isnt that bad lol

That thing isnt bad for $400, Id kill to find something like that.

Cant find a shortbox around here for less than $1000

well this weekend i scored a 4'' lift kit for free and built my self a schakle flip for the rear just have to wait till next weekend to lift it, o and the floors are already fixed by yours truely lol

people around here know me as the 1ton guy and also a good guy to call for little vehicles stuck removal. :D

Hell I would of bought it just cuz it was a rare combo!!!

i use to get called to pull people out until i was getting calls at 3 and 4 in the morning then no one was getting pulled out unless it was a close friend lol

well i just put my first little bit of money in the truck. i bought a carb rebuild kit all the gaskets for the engine except for the head gasket why replace it if its not leaking right, and some paint for it just to give it a nice look to it, of course chevy orange and black paint, and a new set of plugs. hopefully it will run pretty good for awhile.

o and every single part i have bought for this truck has been ordered and not one thing in stock lol i hate buying parts for old cars and trucks lol

hey now your making fun of that state that builds corvettes and holley carbs, come on lol. automotive wise what does PA make lol

being in kentucky, you'd think they'd still have these trucks on the lot new?
I think he means rusting. They use LOTS of salt down here. More salt per inch of snow than in Michigan, I can say that much.

o haha yea it does lol but up north you guys just drive on top the snow lol and dont worry about plowing, atleast thats what its like in lima ohio lol

I moved down here expecting a nice easy winter with low salt in my diet.

Not.

As soon as the weatherman even mentioned ice or snow they're out salting like a bunch of crazed maniacs and doing it poorly too. Big piles of it on the road, all over the place, on the curbs and sidewalks...

...then we get half an inch and it just melts into a salty brine which gets everywhere.

So basically if you wash your junk often, including the underside, it doesn't rust as much as up north. If you never wash the belly...it'll rust out bad just like up north.
