We moved here to NC a month ago and shortly after that I put the K5 up for sale. It has just been sitting on the trailer in the front yard....until today. I now look out the window at an empty trailer cause it's gone.

That biotch is now up in front of the garage :saweet:

Got a little work done on it today. Took the hard top off, put on mew front bumpstops, removed the gas tank with 10 gallons of OLD BAD GAS

Had to fix a little rust that had started under the hard top near the cab

also got the holes drilled for the soft top brackets. Tomorrow I get to drill the other 54 holes to put the snaps in :ignore:

Also cut out the pass side floor pan to get ready to put in new panel and damn near burned the truck to the ground. I had to grind off the spot weld leftovers off the floor supports and some sparks made their way into the insulation under my dash. For about 20 minutes I was smelling something like rubber burning assuming it was a neighbor burning trash. Then I looked up and saw smoke and a very bright cherry and dripping rubber from under the dash. The hose quickly came into play. Glad I didn't put in the carpet yet :doah:

Monday I pickup the ram for the hydro assist and the lines. I'm still trying to figure which fuel cell I want to buy. Don't think I'm gonna spend the cash on an aluminum one but that is still undecided

So, looks like I won't be selling anything for a while :pimp:

DAMN.....i was going to try and buy the trailer:cool1:

I almost had a heart attack. After the hell of moving, transporting, and shipping those heavy a$$ axles to you, I'd have to come out there and make you buy the rig back:laugh: Glad to see you working on it. By the way, I finally used that gift card. Thanks again.

John

Hey, I had to move those axles too...twice :screwy:
I really don't know what I was thinking. I've wanted to build another 4x4 for such a long time and now I have it. what I really WANT is a new diesel tow rig. I don't see that happening anytime soon since the wife is not working right now and is 6 months pregnant. Think I'm just gonna upgrade the cam in the burb and go from there, maybe chip too if I go too big on the cam ;)

Man you have one nice Blazer! I love it, Olive Drab is my favorite paint!

keep us posted on your progress and buy a CO2 fire extinquisher for your projects ( so it doesn't coat everything in a powdery mess )
